Urban Century Documentaries Available as Free Downloads
After a successful television and radio program, Urban Century, the cross media program organized by VPRO and IABR is continuing on the internet and at the main location of the Biennale, the NAI. As of October, the VPRO has made Urban Century documentaries available on the internet as free downloads. The documentaries are co-productions of the VPRO and the IABR. They can be downloaded from www.eeuwvandestad.nl/download and at the VPRO Pavilion in the Forum of the NAI.
For those who prefer to have the documentaries on DVD; de VPRO and the IABR are selling a boxed collector’s edition, Eeuw van de Stad (Urban Century). The box contains four dvd’s with the documentaries I am Gurgaon, The New City in India; Grand Paris, The President and The Architect; New in Town; and Stayin’ Alive in Jo’burg. The box is available from the VPRO and at the main location of the 4th IABR and costs 24,95 euros.
